traveling

Traveling on the roads will pick up in the next couple weeks. With the holidays coming up, many will travel to go see family and loved ones. You will want to make sure that your vehicle is properly maintained. This way it will be safe and reliable as you drive on the road this season. Whenever you plan on taking a road trip or traveling, you will want to make sure that you schedule an appointment with us. A proper bumper to bumper inspection can help notice an issue. If you hear anything out of the norm with the vehicle as you drive, always contact us. Having the issue fixed at the first sign can help prevent further damage from happening.

Traveling and checking fluids

You will want to check and top off all the fluids of your vehicle before driving. Checking these fluids will help to ensure that the vehicle can work and operate efficiently. If there is a fluid that is less than at the indicated line, there could be a leak in the system. Make sure to bring the vehicle in and we can inspect it for you. The oil should always be fresh and clean to help the engine run efficiently. If the oil is old, it may start to look like sludge.

Also remember that the tires should be inspected. Have them properly inflated as well. You should remember to look at the tread wear on them. If the tread is low, you will want to invest in a new set of tires. When checking the tires, also remember to check the spare tire on your vehicle. Besides the tires, check the lights on your vehicle. Not only do they help your visibility, but it helps others to see you as well. Remember to check the blinkers, as they will alert others when you are turning. Any light that is not working correctly should be fixed immediately.
