dashboard

The dashboard warning lights are important for a reason. If one of these illuminates, then you will be able to determine what or where the issue is. You will want to make sure to bring the vehicle in anytime you notice that a dashboard warning light coming on. If the light starts to blink when you are driving, pull over as soon as it is safe to do so. You will want to turn your vehicle off as well. This will help prevent further damage from being done to it. Make sure that you also schedule an appointment with us as soon as you can. Having the vehicle properly inspected can reduce issues as well. If the battery light comes on, there could be an issue with how your vehicle is charging.

Engine Dashboard Light

When the check engine light illuminates, you will want to make sure that you notice if it is blinking or not. If the light blinks, then you will want to pull over as soon as it is safe to do so. You should also turn off your vehicle so further damage is not done to it. Also be aware if there is any smoke or noises coming from under the hood of the vehicle. If this is the case, you will want to make sure the vehicle is safe enough to continue driving it.

Also make sure you are aware of the brake light on the dashboard. This will alert you to any issues that might be with the brakes. If you notice that the brakes are softer or harder to apply, it can mean that the brake fluid may be low. Make sure that you schedule an appointment with us so we can inspect the brakes fully for you. If the brake fluid is at the proper amount, we can check the brake rotors and brake pads. Over time these will start to wear, and will need to be replaced. You will always want your brakes to be in the best condition, so make sure to schedule an appointment.
