As you drive your vehicle, you will want to make sure that your visibility is the best that it can be. Part of this includes inspecting the windshield, the windshield wipers, the washer fluid, and the headlights. Each one will improve your visibility when you drive. If you notice there is a crack or divot in the windshield, make sure to have it fixed as soon as possible. If there is a crack, having it fixed right away will help reduce the chance that it develops into a larger crack that would require the entire windshield to be replaced.

Besides inspecting the windshield, also remember to check the windshield wipers. These are important because if it is snowing or sleeting out, the wipers can remove the precipitation from the windshield. When the wipers have worn out, they will start to vibrate against the windshield and make noise. You may also notice that the wipers leave smear marks and cannot remove the precipitation properly. Ideally, you should replace the wipers twice a year. This can help you to be prepared for the winter snow and sleet.

Also take a few minutes to check the headlights and taillights of your vehicle. This can help you to see the road ahead of you, as well as having others see you. If you need to turn, the blinkers will alert others for which direction you will be driving. This can help to avoid an accident if a vehicle is trying to pass if you are turning in that direction. If you notice that the lights are not working properly, make sure to bring your vehicle in so we can inspect it for you.
